Aral Fuel Card Refusal or Failure


If users experience problems with their Aral fuel card and it is either refused or fails, proof will be required in the form of the till receipt.   
The receipt must show either “Vorgang Abgebrochen” “Karte nicht akzeptiert” or something similar.

and must be completed online.  For those who send in the form incomplete i.e. without email address or Unit address will have the form returned.

All members of British Forces Germany, including civilian staff, contractors and dependants, should be aware that they must keep any tax free motor vehicle for a minimum of 12 months from the first day of its BFG registration.  BFG Customs and Immigration staff work closely with HMRC and the DVLA and are informed when any vehicle has its ownership transferred early. 

This key benefit of service in Germany must be protected; early disposals will result in administrative or disciplinary action being taken.  If you need disposal advice please contact BFG Customs and Immigration on:

The Forces Help To Buy Scheme (FHTB)


The Forces Help to Buy Scheme was launched on 1 April 2014 as a three year pilot scheme. FHTB enables Service personnel to borrow up to half their annual salary (up to a maximum of £25,000) and is intended to assist towards the balance of the purchase price (taking into account, for example, deposit, legal, surveyors, land registration and estate agent fees) when buying a property for which a mortgage lender is willing to advance a mortgage. Any personnel looking to utilise FHTB should familiarise themselves fully with JSP 464 Part 1 Chapter 12 where full details of the eligibility and qualifying criteria can be found.
